Imagineering 2016

As a Ride Controls Software Engineer, I designed and built the control software for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, a family-oriented roller coaster at Shanghai Disneyland. It tracks over 1,500 components to keep every vehicle safely under control.

In the summer of 2014 I moved half-way across the world to Shanghai to help build the first Disneyland in mainland China.
I spent 22 months on site, carrying the design from concept to a working attraction. As a Ride Controls Software Engineer, I designed and built the control software for a family-oriented roller coaster, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
The software interfaces with over 1,500 components and holds close control of every vehicle in the attraction at all times, so guests stay safe in every circumstance.
